Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CV Booster service, provided by Jabu ("we", "us", "our"). By ordering our services, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't place an order.
1. Our service
CV Booster provides professional CV writing, cover-letter writing, reference formatting and LinkedIn optimization services for clients in South Africa. We offer four packages (Basic, Standard, Premium, Platinum) at fixed once-off prices.
2. Placing an order
To order:
- Submit the order form on cvbooster.co.za, or contact us on WhatsApp.
- We'll confirm your order and send payment instructions (EFT or cash deposit) on WhatsApp or email.
- Work begins as soon as your payment clears and you have provided all required information.
3. Pricing & payment
- All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are once-off payments.
- Basic: R300 · Standard: R400 · Premium: R500 · Platinum: R1000.
- Payment is offline only (EFT or cash deposit). We do not process card payments.
- Full payment is required before we begin work on your CV.
4. Turnaround time
Standard delivery is within 3 working days from the moment we have received your payment and all necessary information from you. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays. Urgent 24-hour delivery may be available on request and will attract a small surcharge.
If the delay is on our side, we will keep you updated proactively.
5. Our Unlimited Revisions promise
You get unlimited revisions until you are 100% satisfied. We continue to refine your CV, cover letter and references at no extra charge until the documents feel right to you. This is our way of making sure you receive work you are genuinely proud of.
To make this work well, please review drafts promptly and give us clear, consolidated feedback. We ask that revision requests relate to the original brief you provided — if you want to pivot to a completely different industry or role partway through, this may be treated as a new order.
6. Refunds
Because our service is a highly personalized, labour-intensive creative service that begins immediately on payment:
- Refunds are not offered once work has started. Instead, we apply our Unlimited Revisions promise to resolve any concerns.
- If for any reason we are unable to deliver your order at all, you will receive a full refund.
- If you cancel your order before work begins, we will refund your payment less any card / bank fees.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information about your education, work history and achievements.
- Only upload documents that belong to you or that you have permission to share.
- Respond to our WhatsApp / email messages within reasonable timeframes so we can complete your order.
- Not ask us to fabricate qualifications, experience or references — we only rewrite and present what is real, in its best light.
8. Intellectual property
Once your CV has been paid for and delivered, it is yours. You own the final documents and may use them freely to apply for jobs, post on LinkedIn, or share as you wish. We retain the right to use anonymized before/after snippets for marketing purposes only — never with your real name, identifying details, or actual documents.
9. Confidentiality & data protection

10. Limitation of liability
We work hard to produce excellent CVs, but we cannot guarantee that you will be shortlisted, interviewed, or hired — those decisions rest with employers. Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Changes do not affect orders placed before the update.
